I see a screen with no words. I see a list with no names. I felt a pulse with no life. I see a sky of blue and grey. There was hardly a wind. Heat was still a roommate.
I placed a handkerchief into my pocket. Walking out the door never felt so mechanical. I made my way to the nearby playground. It was empty, as always. The birds there flew away when they saw me. I looked up. Rain was coming soon. Time, 6.00pm.
I placed the handkerchief at the back of my head and lay upon the open ground. I look straight into the sky and my vision was filled with only clouds upon a blue background. I could feel insects biting me and flies resting upon my arms. Time, 6.20pm.
My stomach felt odd. Seeing to as it was mostly empty, I can understand why. I sat up. A pose of ponder followed. The little droplets of rain began to fall. I looked up. The sky was now completely grey. I was lost in time for a brief period. I was mostly but not completely soaked in rainwater. Wind. I shivered. It almost feels as if what I am feeling is being washed away by the rain. I stood up and proceeded to walk home. Time, 7.20pm.

Sleep
As wiki would put it, sleep is a naturally recurring state of relatively suspended sensory and motor activity, characterized by total or partial unconsciousness and the inactivity of nearly all voluntary muscles.
Needless to say, I completely blame this process for my lack of updates in my blog.
While pictures in this particular post were taken without prior consent, I don't really have much to complain as it actually did help me extend to another post although it is not mentally stimulating.
However, one could say that this gives a little insight as to how my room looks like no?
pic very related.

Meter Migration
I had always used rainmeter ever since I found out of its existence. It was a rather helping tool in telling me which programs suck up resources once they start running though sucking a little resource itself.
Ladies and gentlemen, the rainmeter I used. It has a very basic interface really. I simply turned the default image it came with into gray-scale and removed some useless things while adding time and date into it. Nothing too fancy.
But then, during one fateful night, I stumbled upon samurize, which proved itself to be a little more interesting than rainmeter. So, I gave it a shot.
It was not bad at all. Though this time, I didn't simply modify the default skin. Instead, I made my own from scratch. The skin editor was surprising simple and had a nice GUI unlike rainmeter which was limited to only editing everything on notepad.
I made it based a lot on rainmeter, taking out what I find irrelevant and placing some extras that I have been unable to do on rainmeter.
While I liked it much better, some things of it bother me. For one, I can't seem to make it fade-out. Hence, I made it transparent and binded some hot-keys to hide it completely when necessary. Seeing to as I would most likely continue to work on it, I also binded another hot-key to refresh it instantly.
Despite the minor inconveniences, I do prefer it over rainmeter for several reasons:
- It has a very friendly user interface for skin making
- It is definitely less complicated when stretching the limits of what it can do (plug-ins and whatnot.)
- It uses less RAM than rainmeter (in comparison with my configurations.)
- Did I mention skin making from scratch is surprisingly simple?
Do give both programs a try if you find it interesting and do tell me about it.

Dear Kenny #comments
To be honest, I really didn't expect much comments. Much less coming from God and people i don't know. But seeing to as how some of these comments are question-like, I shall comment on the comments.
First and foremost, the comments can be found here.
Now then, let's begin.
I know who you are. No comment. XD
Because if I do, it will be another epic rant.
I know who you are too. No comment. XD
No worries, everyone is welcomed to comment their opinions and views.
I think it would be interesting if someone else analyzes it besides me. I've had my fill of fun for now.
Classical music FTW!
O.o I knew you can sometimes be harsh but girl, my respect for you just +10
Metal FTW also! XD
Then came a comment that was very interesting and really captured my attention.
When I saw this comment I was like, 'wow, a comment that practically interview me'. So I shall do him/her the honour of replying everything sincerely.
"my my...wat's with this nonsense..."
This nonsense is my rant, just in case you are incapable of reading the topic tabs or unable to analyze the post i wrote.
"y is almost everyone here so negative?"
I won't say everyone here is negative. God has been pretty neutral and the anons were just fooling around. So who is this everyone you speak of?
"everyone have their own point & views...
sometimes their point & views may clashes..."
Agreed.
"but doesnt mean that u have to dedicate a blog post juz to blast the person back..."
Also agreed.
"do u have to do that to everyone's post who say out their points & views that clashes with urs?"
I don't HAVE to do that every post I don't agree with. I will do it if I WANT to. I WANTED to blast Kenny's posts, so I did.
"dedicating a post to someone & also commenting a person's views...
isn't that immature? & yet u ask them to grow up..."
I don't think I would label this immature for a very simple reason. Go read a newspaper. Everything that has the word review in it is commenting on whatever it is they are reviewing. In a very real sense, I am reviewing Kenny's blog.
"i find that points in both blogs have their own views...to put it in a way, there is no wrong nor right...if u dun like some things that is being blog about & also clashes with ur view...
read it & leave..."
While I think that my post has more facts backing it up rather than just being filled with wishful thinking, I couldn't agree more with what you said. If you don't like something that is being blogged about and also clashes with your view, just read it and leave. So if you didn't like my post, why didn't you listen to your own advice? I'm sure you read it to be able to comment but I don't really see you leaving now do I?
"that's all i can say...to listen or not...it is all up to an individual...
let's have peace & harmony..."
Yes, it is up for me to listen or not. Of course, I can say I did listen though I can't say i agree with absolutely everything.
"have a nice day..."
Have a nice day too.
Then came a very interesting comment again, who, I must say, summarizes my points quite well.
And that's all from me for now. Let's see if this post attracts more interesting comments to comment about.
First and foremost, the comments can be found here.
Now then, let's begin.

Dear Kenny,
let me just point out that not all animes revolves around 'fantasy', 'where the impossible happens'.
BUT, almost all games do. Or at least, those FPS games that you're such a sucker for does. Guns with endless bullets, running around killing people? HOW THE FUCK does that improve your intelligence?
PS: Sorry for hijacking your comment box, dominic. I had to write this somewhere, and when the alternative is writing in the owner's blog, there's not much of a choice left.

Retards, are those who contradict themselves. Retards, are those who can't differentiate between fantasies with reality. Retards, are those who cannot restrict themselves and therefore saying entertainment in the form of animes make people stupid. An example of a retard will be the guy Kenny.
For the [Self harming... Failure of understanding humanity's worth?] part, that guy is really pathetic. *sigh*

Dear Kenny
According to you, my blog sucks. Seeing to as that comment came from someone whose blog sucks more than mine, I feel obligated to point out how your blog sucks instead. I don't even have to go full scale. The content of your blog is enough to prove my point. And no, I will not even overkill by commenting on every single one of your post. Criticizing the latest two post might already be an overkill.
In case readers cannot find his latest two posts of which I am speaking about, I have happily made a back up here.
Let’s start off with [anime and intelligence] shall we?
Alright, I have no idea what you are warning me about but I guess everyone has their own blogging style.
Anime has proven to be ridiculous at times? First off, not many anime out there is realistic in the first place and you're complaining about anime being too ridiculous? This is equivalent to saying that "harry potter has proven to include magic in its story theme at times". Not only is it obvious, it is a waste of time.
So you have "suddenly thought of this" phenomenon eh? Finally realized that anime is not real? Finally realized that the world is bigger than you? Finally realized that falling off a building would get you more than just a bruise?
"However, too much entertainment has its toll". Are you high when you posted this? Everything has its toll. Cars move forward but their tires wear out. You spend time studying but you could have always been doing something else. There is nothing in this world without a toll. If there is, a perpetual motion device would have already been invented making electricity free for all.
So lame television programs "kills your intelligence" but entertainment such as video games make you think better? Seriously, you were high when you wrote this post right? Let’s start with the "lame shows on TV". I’m sure lots of children cartoon are considered "lame" for you. In fact, most of us would not be able to stand watching something meant for a child. Is this what that is killing your intelligence? Especially when these programs are made to teach children various things such as numbers, colours, and even some simple physics. But of course, these shows are "lame" and make people more stupid.
Video games make you think better huh? Let’s say Tetris. Tetris is capable of making a brain thinking more efficiently. Heck it can even relieve post-traumatic stress disorder but that does not mean you become smarter. Unreal Tournament is a game that can improve your eyesight. "pro-social" games (including Super Mario Sunshine) can make people be in a better mood. Medal of Honour improves cognitive skills. Laparoscopic surgeons can even work 27% faster with 37% less mistakes when playing games focusing on motor skills for at least three hours of gaming a week. I’m pretty sure most of these games here are pretty entertaining but what interests me is that not all of them make you more intelligent. Sure they improve you in certain ways but intelligence is not always in the picture. so why is it that you can plainly say "entertainment such as video games in fact makes you think better"?
Oh, so you already meant to contradict yourself? Sorry for not noticing.
Seems like you also finally realized that too much is bad. You know, I really can't think of many things that having too much would be good. Maybe you can, but it’s not easy for me. Health maybe.
But saying "real life shows however, couldn't achieve the impossible since they couldn't defy the laws of physics" is just plain idiocy at this point. Special effects were invented for a reason. Science fiction series and movies exist despite being unable to "defy the laws of physics".
If you tend to believe that what they do is real, how the hell does a television series such as 'lost' makes sense? Would you still deny your own reality and substitute it with theirs? At this rate, I’m willing to accept it if you want to get abandoned in some unknown island.
What is there to conclude? I mean really.
There are a number of animes out there which are not fantasy. In fact, there are a number of animes out there which are fantasy, but makes you think more about life compared to "real-life TV shows. Bounen no Xam’d and EVA no Jikan to name a few, are anime series that definitely incorporates fantasy though not entirely being in the fantasy genre. And yet, these anime are capable of making people more understanding of others and some tear-jerking animes can even make you appreciate life more.
"Weakened intelligence and focus" just from watching anime? Please, you can say the same for television series. A number of animes as stated in the last paragraphs can sometimes change a person. Though the origin of which is fantasy, it makes them think of things in real life. I'm sure the same can be said for television series but hey, from what I can see, you don't think television stations screen anime so I'll keep it at that instead of speaking on how you were contradicting yourself since the beginning.
Whew.
And now, we shall continue with [Self harming... Failure of understanding humanity's worth?]
First of all, read up the wiki on emo and self-injury. Done? Now you know that is associated with the emo subculture and not a part of it. Good going for making a false statement in your first sentence. Now tell me, how is self harming not normal harming? Both involves harming. Normal harming does not define as to where harm is inflicted on but self harming specifically says so. So what is the difference you speak of here?
Need to know why people harm themselves? That wiki post should be enough for you. Heck, you can even read my older post here.
And again, just in case it doesn't go through your thick skull, not all emo people cut themselves. Being emotional does not make you have issues which lead to self harm.
Let's not drag God into the issue shall we?
After thinking for a bit, I might just believe that music can turn someone emo. And all who listen to death metal are serial killers right? Maybe one day I should try playing songs by "My Chemical Romance" just to see how many people end up cutting themselves. After all, that's how the physics in your world works right? You know, if interest in a music genre can brainwash someone into changing so much, the world would be destroyed by now. The statement "origins of emo are from the popular music" is just plain discriminating. Emotional songs would naturally attract most emotional people but that does not mean it wouldn't attract any other crowd.
Yes, your little world is never miserable. There is nothing sad in your world. Your world has no risk of sickness and everyone in it is happy. You are always happy and nothing puts you down. People who are suffering are not miserable in your world. People whose lives are fading away are not miserable in your world. People whose lives have been completely unfair for every moment of their waking life is not miserable in your world. Of course that is true. I completely agree. But the real world may be just a little different if you bother to take notice.
But for once, just once, I have to agree with what you said at the end. Humans ARE an intelligent race. Doing irrational things is commonly related to being stupid. This much I can agree with. I can even agree with you telling people to grow up. The question I have for you though, if why don't you listen to your own advice?
Dear Kenny, please grow up. You are a human being. Human beings are an intelligent race. You should base your posts on facts and not write it irrationally on a whim
P.S. Your lousy usage of punctuation also makes your blog suck more than mine.
P.P.S. All comments are welcomed, even from you Kenny.
P.P.P.S. Anyone posting comments as anonymous in this post sucks.
In case readers cannot find his latest two posts of which I am speaking about, I have happily made a back up here.
Let’s start off with [anime and intelligence] shall we?
WARNING: Despite my post to be sliding towards the anti-anime side, I would like to say this. Please. Do not stop reading this post.
Alright, I have no idea what you are warning me about but I guess everyone has their own blogging style.
Challenging minds. Animes have become a trend. A culture in the world. Something Japan has contributed. Though, they have been challenging everyone's minds. They have proven to be ridiculous at times. I have suddenly thought of this. Animes are something which are not worth watching when you have other things to do. It is merely a fantasy world where its purpose is to entertain you. However, too much entertainment has its toll. Though the question is, too much anime can cause your intelligence to deteriorate? Plausible theory. My claim is that the more you watch, the more you neglect other stuff such as challenging your minds to explore new things and new possibilities.
Anime has proven to be ridiculous at times? First off, not many anime out there is realistic in the first place and you're complaining about anime being too ridiculous? This is equivalent to saying that "harry potter has proven to include magic in its story theme at times". Not only is it obvious, it is a waste of time.

You spend time studying but you could have always been doing something else. There is nothing in this world without a toll. If there is, a perpetual motion device would have already been invented making electricity free for all.
Though this doesn't really say that only amines will do. So, the title should be changed to too much of any entertainment causes your mind to go down to zero. True? WRONG! Despite how much, I've experimented it with, entertainment doesn't really kills your intelligence. However, if you're watching some lame shows on the TV, yes it does. Entertainment such as video games in fact makes you think better.
In fact, certain games have proven to have sharpen the minds of many. However, that doesn't mean that you should stick your face in front of the TV with the console or the PC to play all sorts of games. Some games in fact makes your intelligence go down. Back to topic. We're discussing about animes and intelligence right? Well, for what I can see, some people had already forgotten about what's important in their lives when they started watching animes or any other things on TV. I've spent my time watching too much animes in the previous year. And to my surprise, I've realized, that too much is bad. My point is anime is a fantasy, where the impossible happens. Real life shows however, couldn't achieve the impossible since they couldn't defy the laws of physics. In this case, Real life shows would be more suitable for humanity instead of animes. When we watch things on TV. We tend to believe that what they do is real. So, in this case, we deny our own reality and substitute it with theirs.
Oh, so you already meant to contradict yourself? Sorry for not noticing.
Seems like you also finally realized that too much is bad. You know, I really can't think of many things that having too much would be good. Maybe you can, but it’s not easy for me. Health maybe.

As to conclude this post, my point is, to not let yourself be absorbed into the anime world but keep a part of your consciousness to be in the real world. A balance on both animes and our TV shows would be nice. The more we absorb fantasy, the more our minds become rotten. As our minds focus on fantasy stimuli and not the real world. And this will result in weakened intelligence and focus. I suggest to all who reads this post to think more of the real life than to indulge fully into the world of fantasy
What is there to conclude? I mean really.
There are a number of animes out there which are not fantasy. In fact, there are a number of animes out there which are fantasy, but makes you think more about life compared to "real-life TV shows. Whew.
And now, we shall continue with [Self harming... Failure of understanding humanity's worth?]
Self harming as most usually recognize it as a part of the Emo subculture is a method of doing physical harm towards one self. However, this self harming is not just a normal harming. What puzzles me today is why on earth would humans even harm themselves? I mean, is there any good coming from people being emo nowadays? What is it that humans prefer cutting their own wrists or doing any severe physical harm to themselves?
First of all, read up the wiki on emo and self-injury. Done? Now you know that is associated with the emo subculture and not a part of it. Good going for making a false statement in your first sentence. Now tell me, how is self harming not normal harming? Both involves harming. And again, just in case it doesn't go through your thick skull, not all emo people cut themselves. Being emotional does not make you have issues which lead to self harm.
The only question I would wish to post to all those people out there who are still living within the emo subculture. Why do you even want to harm yourselves? Do you even care about the people around you who cares about you a lot? Harming yourself is not a way of expression. It is mere stupidity. If god wants us to harm ourselves, he would had turn it into a commandment. Emo or not, this is not worth doing. Origins of emo are from the popular music. Bands such as "My Chemical Romance" are promoting people to harm themselves. You teens have better things to do. Harming yourself is never a good idea.
Wake up world. This world is never miserable. The ones who are miserable is you people. You people wanted it to be miserable. That's why you feel that it's miserable. I find it ironic that humans who are created to protect themselves wants to harm themselves instead. Humans are not stupid. Humans are an intelligent race and the stupidity comes from why we do irrational things? Grow up people!

Brains, Part 2
when i first made this blog i really wanted to talk about things that can make people think a lot. though i ended up with writing more rants than intelligible posts in the beginning, i would like to think i am improving. one of the first few posts would be about brains. a simple and short rant that was written by the simple minded and child-like me. this is an sequel to the post after a few years of thinking.
any average person would be born with a particular organ called a brain. the average brain is capable of thinking. the capability of thinking is that of which allows us to be different from one another.
the first thing i would like to mention is this: how is it that although the average person has a brain, that person is still capable of blindly believing something without a scientific basis? santa claus? the boogie man? why is it that children do not even question the existence of something as ridiculous as the tooth fairy?
the average adult would realise the silliness of how children can believe such a thing but let them be simply because they are children. while i can live with that, how is it that adults also find no problem believing in something that is baseless? is drinking liquor suppose to keep you warm? a chameleon changes colour to match its surroundings?
come on people, we are born with brains to think. so please, start thinking.
the second thing i would like to address is: must everybody agree with everything you say? so you think a particular movie sucks, that is your opinion. i have the freedom to watch whatever i want be it sucky by your standards or not.
when you have an opinion, it is your opinion, it is not a fact. if you were to explain to me about the various wavelengths of light for each colour, i could understand. this is something that has a scientific basis. it is facts, not something subjective. but if you are to tell me a certain genre of music is horrible and that i should never listen to it, then i strongly disagree. that is your opinion, not a fact. trying to convince me like it is a fact is similar to propaganda.
why is it so common for people to mix opinions and fact? is it really that hard to think for a moment whether or not others may have a different opinion? this does not even require you to think so much. it is pure logic. different people would have different opinions about things. the world does not revolve around you.
again people, please start using that brain of yours.
the third and final installment of this post is: statistics. ok, so some statistics make sense, like how much power you use to how much your electricity bills will be by the end of the month. this is a very direct thing that hardly requires statistics to know what the graph would look like.
however, when many variables are taken into place, how can you simply pick what you like and create a statistic out of it? to believe that random things are interrelated and make a statistic out of it without consideration of other variables is utter stupidity.
the best example that is common is global warming versus pirates. as the temperature of the planet goes up, pirates are decreasing. are we suppose to have more pirates then people? i might as well say the longer my hair grows, the warmer the planet gets. so everyone should shave their heads. please people, when you want to make a statistical statement, at least get your fact straight and make sure what you are comparing actually makes sense.
of course there are also statistics like saying the average person swallows 8 spiders per year in their sleep but i already talked about this in my first point.
so for the last time people, please think a little more in life.

Vectoring Images
to be honest, if there was some sort of magical way to vector images easily, i would do it. but so far, i haven't found anything reliable that can do that as of yet. so i though, why not i learn it myself? asking a few people i know here and there and voila, i began to vector my first image ever.
of course, there are a number of images i wanted to vector. but given that this is my first time, i wanted a to vector something i truly desired. unfortunately the resolution of that particular picture is too small for an amateur like me to handle. so i headed for what is second best.
of course i don't intend to vector the entire image but merely mio-chan there in the middle. eventually i may or may not vector mugi and yui though it is very likely that i would.
through much time and guesswork, i finally finished vectoring mio-chan.
this is mio-chan of K-On! version 0.1a.
so far, the only other version is 0.1b though the only change is that the hair reflection has no black border so i don't see the point of uploading it. after all, this image is pretty large.
the image is 3800 x 4065 pixels with 32 bit depth. since i was vectoring it, it is only common to super-size it this much, right?
personally i think it could have been better. i'm a little disappointed that i can't put in the blush on her face without making her look retarded. nevertheless, i find this piece of work satisfying for me.
i wouldn't know why you would want to but you can feel free to download and use the image. though please remember to credit me.
EDIT: in the twenty minutes where i was reviewing my vectored images, i realized that the white gap in the lower right hand side of her hair was supposed to be transparent. though i have corrected it in my laptop, the image above remains wrong. if you wish to use it, you may want to correct that error first.

why choose deposit files you say? because i used to live in an apartment near my campus where they block access to certain websites such as megaupload, rapidshare, and so on. the only thing they seem not to block is deposit files. so yes, i'm being a little biased for them. and no, i will not mirror this anywhere else. i know its a little slow but it also makes sure that those who share internet connections will not leech too much.
from what i can see, the only people who suffer are individuals who own their own internet access.
this post will be updated whenever i feel like it after i get more episodes. i am not affiliated with chihiro subs. i am merely uploading their work.

Mustang's Opponent Cheated in Chess
as you all would have known by now, the thirteenth episode of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is out. while i can say it is a nice episode as always, there is a part of the story where Roy Mustang is seen playing chess.
this, of course is normal. up to the point where you notice that Roy has already captured to of both his opponents bishop and yet there is an extra one that remains on the board.
while it can be argued that in the second image, Roy has captured the bishop in the first image, the third one shows that it is obviously still there.
those who have some knowledge on chess would know that this is wrong. what is more is the fact that the opponent lost even with this extra advantage.

The Unit Earth
well, what could this mean? what could i possibly want to blog about? showing only the globe is of course a vital clue. is it global warming? or perhaps even about art? now, some may say this is not fair since i am technically only showing half a globe so here is the other half:
well ladies and gentlemen, any ideas yet? don't know? please, keep guessing before you continue reading. consider it a challenge to figure out how i think.
(not that many have ever succeeded in doing so.)
when you are done deciding, scroll a little to find out.
oh yeah, these pictures are large sizes so you can download and scale them to be your wallpaper accordingly.
and its my birthday today so feel free to buy many expensive things for me. make sure its at least three digits on its price tag. XD
once upon a time, me and my family were deciding on dishes to order for dinner. they asked:"what do you want?"
any other person would know what they meant. i mean, we are talking about dishes. but then i thought, what Do i want?
of course there is natural list of material things. a powerful laptop, a server, a thumb drive on steroids, the list goes on. then there is the less material things. a hug, a nocturnal friend to chat with on msn, learning something new and worthwhile, and so on.
but the more i think about it, the more greedy i become. which explains the two pictures above. ladies and gentlemen, i want the world. heck, now that i think about it, i want more than the world. i want what is beyond that as well!
yes, this means i am greedy. yes, this means i am selfish. yes, this means that even if i have everything, i want more. i want the knowledge of the universe. i want immortality and eternal youth. i want acknowledgment by every sentient being out there.
but when one thinks about it, what is the whole point of wanting, if you don't reach out and actually get what you want? we can't have everything in life. life is unfair and we know it. but when we take one step at a time, we can move forward and bring our dream closer to reality. and even if we fall, and died trying, we know that we have made a difference. and that difference is all it takes to inspire others to achieve their goals in life.

Haruhi New Episode
for those of you out there who watch suzumiya haruhi, i'm sure you all have known that there may or may not be a new season. for those of you who are somewhat obsessive with this would have known by now that there is a new episode mixed with the what seems to be the re-airing of the first season.

for those who want to watch the episode, i can't help you because i don't know how. however, if you would like to watch the ending credits which is (obviously) different fomr the first season, head over to youtube on this link.
i have also ripped the new ending song from the youtube video link given. heck, i even ripped the video for you guys to download if you don't want to view it from youtube.

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover
i once saw a rather odd looking book. its cover was downright strange. it showed a headless horseman. when i was through with the book, i could honestly say i was surprised by its rich content. i would say that in this experience, i had literally judged a book by its cover.
we all know that we shouldn't judge simply based on first impressions. and people like Susan Boyle proves this even further. but even though we know this, why is it that many of us still do so?
one good example would be on homosexual rights. many had condemned homosexuals without rational reason. some even say it was a disease that had to be cured. but when a person is good friends with someone, and then realized they were homosexuals, they are shocked. is it really that strange to realize that they are only human?
when you see a rugged man walk down the street with his head hung low, is he really a beggar or a jobless man? when you see a brand that has a better label than the other, is it really healthier? when you see good examination results from a student, is he or she really hardworking?
there has been many books that i have read which do have dull beginnings but a splendid storyline. there are books that i would give a high rating despite its ending.
then of course there are people like Greg Pritchard who simply blow my mind:
by the end of the day, we realize that for every book we did not read, we lose a chance realizing its greatness that hides beyond its cover. don't judge a book by its cover.

The Experiment
ladies, and gentlemen. living in an apartment means having to take care of my own trash. about once a month, my rubbish bin gets full and i will have to pack it up and dispose of it. that's when the idea of this experiment came up.
i thought to myself, 'what if i don't throw my rubbish away after one month?'. well ladies and gentlemen, after one month and several days, i present to you, a weapon of mass destruction!
trash is something that must be well maintained. otherwise, you will end up with a biological weapon as seen above.

Stimuli
in memory of Choon Yang. may he rest in peace.
when i got back from his funeral, i was rather sweaty. i accessed my laptop to check various things. blog updates, e-mails, and so on.
it was soon when i decided to take a bath. granted the water in my apartment is always cold, since we do not have a water heater. but today, it seemed almost inviting to shiver in its cold wake.
after i have finished cleaning myself, i continued letting the water pour onto me. it was a curious sensation. by now, my body had already adapted and stopped shivering. i raised my head to feel the droplets on my face. i faced downward to let it hit the back of my head and slide down my spine. it was a very curious sensation.
each water droplet felt like it has its own identity. they all came from the same source. but when they dispersed and hit my body one by one, it felt as though each of them had a story to tell me. and yet, after they had made contact, they slide down my body and flow away. they had become one again.
the water droplets were amazingly cool. their temperature much lower than humans. they absorb my body heat the moment they made contact. they continue to absorb as they slide downwards. such small things. and yet, they can cool and clean my body.
as i turn off the shower, the remaining droplets slide down. going about their way.
after i had slipped into some attire, i head toward the balcony of my apartment. the wind hits my body. they seem to come in waves. sometimes strong, sometimes mild. the feeling of it brushing against my face seems almost addictive. it felt as though the most smoothest silk cloth is being brushed against my face while being pulled lightly backwards.
as i look into the purple sky where the yolk orange sun was setting behind a building, i felt almost like i was flying.
i walk back to my room. as i did so, i let my hand touch the walls on the way. as i slide my hand along the wall leading to my room, it felt as though an explosion of emotion had surfaced. the surface was not smooth. and yet, somehow, it seemed so perfect. the feeling of such random dried up patterns, with no rational arrangement whatsoever, and yet, somehow, it feels so in place, so perfect.
i sit in front of my laptop to start typing, i felt a curiousness in each keystroke. each key seems to have a different texture. different enough to know its not the same. and yet, so similar its hard to what is different. some keys felt smoother. others felt rough, having a grainy texture, as if the finest sand were upon it.
i decided to take a sip from my tumbler. the feeling of the tumbler touching my mouth was amazing. it felt like the wall, only more refined, less chaotic. it was smoother. as i began to swallow the water, it felt as though it was trying its best not to break apart. as if it wanted to be swallowed as a whole.
in less than an hour, i have taken notice of stimuli i often do not bother to think about. the touch of a breeze, the texture of wood, metal, even water. how often do you do this?
if i were to tell you that you had only 48 left to live, would you do what i had just done? the prospect of dying gives us the jolt we need to appreciate life. to appreciate the things around that can be humanly perceived. you would see things differently, smell air differently.
why is it that we must face death in order to realize that we have only one life to live?

i walk back to my room. as i did so, i let my hand touch the walls on the way. as i slide my hand along the wall leading to my room, it felt as though an explosion of emotion had surfaced. the surface was not smooth. and yet, somehow, it seemed so perfect. the feeling of such random dried up patterns, with no rational arrangement whatsoever, and yet, somehow, it feels so in place, so perfect.
i sit in front of my laptop to start typing, i felt a curiousness in each keystroke. each key seems to have a different texture. different enough to know its not the same. and yet, so similar its hard to what is different. some keys felt smoother. others felt rough, having a grainy texture, as if the finest sand were upon it.
i decided to take a sip from my tumbler. the feeling of the tumbler touching my mouth was amazing. it felt like the wall, only more refined, less chaotic. it was smoother. as i began to swallow the water, it felt as though it was trying its best not to break apart. as if it wanted to be swallowed as a whole.
in less than an hour, i have taken notice of stimuli i often do not bother to think about. the touch of a breeze, the texture of wood, metal, even water. how often do you do this?
if i were to tell you that you had only 48 left to live, would you do what i had just done? the prospect of dying gives us the jolt we need to appreciate life. to appreciate the things around that can be humanly perceived. you would see things differently, smell air differently.
why is it that we must face death in order to realize that we have only one life to live?
27042009
you know the feeling you get when you stay up the whole night to do something you don't want about something you have no interest in for a reason you don't care about but you have to do it anyway? that's what i'm feeling right now.
granted i can actually just ignore everything in the world and not do my four page long essay during the last minute, i did anyways. why? cause i have nothing better to do. oh, except sleep.
suddenly, this became my best friend.
when i'm finally done, i though i would take some pictures since i'm ridiculously bored and class is an hour away so i can't sleep. but guess what, my phone decided to go opn strike and simply refused to take a single picture. fan-tastic. fan-f*&%$#@-tastic. so i had to take crappy VGA scale pictures with my laptop instead of 2MP pictures with my phone.
you see how crappy my laptop webcam is? at least it has a webcam right?
smucker's goober. i mean, its just yummy. i can't help eating it. having a diet of just peanut butter & jelly with bread for more than two weeks is Not good for health. (note: i did not eat that many in 2 weeks. it's collected through several months.)
another thing to make my day crappier is the fact that i'm broke. supported GACClite too much i guess. but i can't deny their sandwiches were good. can't really blame me for buying everything on the menu within three days.
so i'm tired and broke. what else can go worse right? oh wait, finals are less than a month away and i hardly understand my syllables. to top it all off, if i don't score my finals, i might just have to repeat another semester on top of the semester that i already have to repeat. yippee!
why can't they predict the world to end tomorrow instead? that would make me feel much better knowing that i don't need suffer anymore on this boiling planet. i mean seriously, lately the temperature here is so hot, i can hardly sleep anymore. then i wake up all sweaty and sticky, as if i wrestled someone while sleeping.
since i already begam ranting, let me just continue by saying that i want a better printer. its not like i don't appreciate the printer i have now. its laser after all. but of all the types of printer, its monochrome. i can't even use my Own money to print colour with it. i don't have much to complaint about printing speed but it is apparently slower than other laser printers.
at this point, i'm just annoyed with life. i think i'll go get sugar high now and see if that helps me stay awake through class today.
yes, that is a jar of sugar.

Fever
you wanna know the most annoying thing in human history that bugs me to the bone? getting a friggin fever. i curse whoever that invented fever to get run over by cancer.
i mean seriously now, when i had my day fully planned and actually excited to go to class, my entire body has to feel two temperatures at the same time. and if that wasn't enough, it gives me aches with every movement i try to make. this is not a feeling i have come to miss.
so what can a guy do in a situation like his eh? pop 2 panadols in and wear a jacket of course. but as if that wasn't good enough, the friggin fever has to grow a mind of its own and crash my entire body system. i mean, what the hell man? one minute i was sitting on my bed, next minute i friggin wake up late afternoon with my body Still aching all over the place.
ok, maybe my body just hates me. i don't blame it. i have been abusing it non-stop since i have it. and its not like i'm eating any healthier since i came here. its only normal if the body dislikes the brain, right?
so here's my specially formulated solution that will cure my body of all diseases, lose the body! if the brain has no body, it can't fall sick right? all i gotta do now is wait for technology to catch up with my idea then i can finally live a disease free life as only a brain.

GACC lite 2009
GACClite 2009 is now over. probably the best 3 days of my life was over there. though the event was small, i met new people and even commissioned a very awesome picture! lots of pictures were taken of course. but not by me, since my phone camera has mood swings and sometimes decide not to work.
but no worries! i have a bunch of links to blogs and forums that have pictures or links to pictures in them. so worry not and hurry up to click the following links to check out the awesomeness of the event.
Mieko's Blog - people, figurines, and the opening video!
Edo's Blog - maids, artjam, and more maids!
Comic Fiesta Forum GACClite Thread - some cosplaying here.
these are so far the reliable links. hopefully more people will upload their pictures of GACClite online.
P.S. i regret not asking someone to take a picture of me in a maid harem.

Help Wanted
Ladies and Gentlemen, as you can see from the title of this blog post, i need help.
regardless to say, contribution for GACC 2009 (as stated in a previous post) is still lacking. i have e-mailed a few of you readers but i would be lying if i said my club has enough sponsors.
i humbly request you read on this long rant on why you should contribute. if you on't have the money, go pester your parents. all proceedings go towards one major goal: the success of my club event, GACC.
GACC is an annual convention held to celebrate people's passion in Games, Anime (Japanese Animation) and Comics. For the past 3 years, we have managed to hold it without fail, and every year we manage to draw in crowds by the thousands, no small feat for a small, university-based club like us. This year, we would like to push our achievements even further by expecting no less than 5000 participants - a feat unachieved yet by any anime convention in Malaysia.
Unlike previous years, we plan to expand our event by holding an O-Matsuri (Japanese Cultural Festival) at night, becoming the first anime convention in Malaysian history to ever achieve so. We are also in the process of securing a seiyuu (Japanese voice actor), which will mark the third time in a row we have done so. So far, no anime convention in Malaysia has been able to invite such a VIP, not even commercially organized ones. These two factors make GACC 2009 highly anticipated by the public (some even hailing from Penang and Kedah), and hence we are confident of a turnout of at least 5000 people strong.
To achieve our goal, we humbly request sponsorship assistance from your company, which is vital for us to run the event. The cost required for an event of our scale and proportions is unfortunately enormous. It is our great hope and it will bring us great joy and honour if you would be able to assist us in making our dreams and ambition a reality.
if you feel like helping, please download this link to view the proposal and how you can help out. you may also go to this page of a fansite to view the details.
thank you in advance for your time and i hope you would consider a contribution.

Pi Day 2009
today is Pi Day!!! pi is 3.14(etc.), hence march 14 is celebrated by some people as pi day.
you can find lots of information on pi on google and wiki and so on so i won't rant on the importance of pi or its beauty.
rather, i will just post some pictures on how my pi day was spent.
pizza!! the best pi related thing there is. this post ends here with a nice music video about pi.
an old video but awesome nonetheless.

Valentine 2009
a little late for such a post i would say but its not like you missed anything important anyways. caution, post may be emo.
two days after valentine's day this year, it was a monday. being my usual self i wrote a piece of literature on how i felt on that day. though i must say, it follows my usual theme of depression. how strange the way my brain is wired.
sometimes i truly wonder, am i so different from everyone else? statistically speaking, there has to be someone like me out there somewhere. still, the fact that most of the time people predict me wrongly surely saddens me.
does it really seem like i would destroy the world if i could? does it really seem like i choose death over life? does it really seem like i would choose war rather than peace? perhaps my demeanor really does seem like this. a lack of expression perhaps? i don't know.
anyways, here's the short literature i wrote two days after valentines day. call it a poem if you must.
**********************************
the broken valentines - 16 February 2009
like a dimming light. ah, how the fools walk around me.
flames to be fueled or extinguished? glowing cast iron, freshly made.
will it cool? will it cool?
on the path that is different, their cold metal hitting each other.
oh, the small sparks it makes.
i watch in amusement.
has the day end when it begun?
how irritating the flies of this meat. its red blood flows pointlessly.
how i ponder its creation.
like yesterday, the night is filled with darkness.
the same sky looks upon me. how common this strange day seems.
as common as another day. have i simply not aged more?

Support GACC 2009!!!
first off, what is GACC? GACC stands for games anime comic circle. every year, the club [emina] has an event called GACC. for the past few years, this event has been epic. having many activities such as cosplay, doujin gaming, performances and other awesome things.

e-mail me at sucker_d_polvis@yahoo.com for further inquiries or if you wish to contribute for GACC 2009.
***************************
that is as far as i go officially.
this event is organized by the club [emina] from multimedia university melacca.
this is a club that i happen to be in, so personally, i want this to be more epic than last year. if you guys know people that can contribute then that would be awesome as well.
on a final note, when the venue for the event is confirmed, it would be awesome if all you guys could attend. unlike some events that are very commercialized, GACC is designed to be FUN. it is truly an event that cannot be missed.

sorry i have abandoned this place so long you guys. i'm still working on some stuff for my next post. not giving any spoilers though, hehe..

Onemanga
now i'm sure most of you out there have heard of onemanga. it is a website to read most manga out there online. and i must say, it is rather satisfying.
lets imagine for a moment that you have fast internet connection. not god-like internet speed but just fast. lets assume that your internet connection is 1 megabit per second.
if you live in Malaysia, 1 megabit is slowly getting common in any home. however, even with such a connection, visiting onemanga can sometimes be annoying. sure the pages loads within 2 seconds. but when you are reading something of suspense, 2 seconds can seem like a long time.
lets put this aside for a moment and talk about internet browsers. firefox, opera, and even chrome are common terms in the world of internet browsing. personally, i am using firefox 3.
as we all know, firefox 3 can support add-ons and extension. one particular extension i would like to focus on is greassmonkey. it is an extension that can run user scripts.
what does this have to do with onemanga you say? well, i have found a rather interesting script that allows loading All pages in a chapter to load in 1 page. so if you have fast internet connection, this may prove to be quite useful is saving your time
Steps:
1) if you are not using firefox, get it.
2) get greasemonkey
3) get the user script
4) try loading a onemanga chapter
after loading a chapter, you will see direct links to all the individual pictures (you can save them all into your computer easier if you want). click show all to show all. after clicking show all, it is easy enough to navigate between chapters. pages will be loaded under each other so just keep scrolling down to read the next page. each page is also separated by a thin line to avoid confusion.
this only works on onemanga though. i find it useful in the sense that you don't need to have multiple tabs to load a few pages at the same time. also, unlike certain scripts, it loads everything instead of pre-fetching only the next page.
what's great is that gressmonkey can also run other user scripts. find them here.
lastly, i personally have read Kamichu! and i find it quite relaxing. do read it if you have the time.

Comic Fiesta 2008
sorry i forgot to post about this. i went for the second day last year. wasted about rm70 on posters and original artworks. unfortunately, i didn't take much picutres. however, you may find some pictures here and here. warning though, it is quite image heavy.
still reading? awesome. here is a picture of Lelouch that my friend cosplayed:
now now. i know he is not tall enough. but at least he is not an alien.

Plain Sad
at least someone actually gave a try on the cipher. but the answer is still wrong. hehe...
well, i don't really plan on releasing the solution until someone could actually solve it so keep trying. i won't update much for now due to some other agenda i want to try starting. until then, keep trying my cipher!
