Vectoring Images

to be honest, if there was some sort of magical way to vector images easily, i would do it. but so far, i haven't found anything reliable that can do that as of yet. so i though, why not i learn it myself? asking a few people i know here and there and voila, i began to vector my first image ever.

of course, there are a number of images i wanted to vector. but given that this is my first time, i wanted a to vector something i truly desired. unfortunately the resolution of that particular picture is too small for an amateur like me to handle. so i headed for what is second best.

of course i don't intend to vector the entire image but merely mio-chan there in the middle. eventually i may or may not vector mugi and yui though it is very likely that i would.

through much time and guesswork, i finally finished vectoring mio-chan.

this is mio-chan of K-On! version 0.1a.

so far, the only other version is 0.1b though the only change is that the hair reflection has no black border so i don't see the point of uploading it. after all, this image is pretty large.

the image is 3800 x 4065 pixels with 32 bit depth. since i was vectoring it, it is only common to super-size it this much, right?

personally i think it could have been better. i'm a little disappointed that i can't put in the blush on her face without making her look retarded. nevertheless, i find this piece of work satisfying for me.

i wouldn't know why you would want to but you can feel free to download and use the image. though please remember to credit me.

EDIT: in the twenty minutes where i was reviewing my vectored images, i realized that the white gap in the lower right hand side of her hair was supposed to be transparent. though i have corrected it in my laptop, the image above remains wrong. if you wish to use it, you may want to correct that error first.
