alrighty then, let's start the day with a few things i want (i'm needy, i know)
1. i want to learn to draw manga
2. i want a fridge
3. to get a fridge i need a 4.0 average so i also want a 4.0 average
4. i want coffee that can actually allow me to not sleep instead of cutting my sleep time in half
5. i want to watch lotsa anime
6. i want high speed internet connection
7. i want to mod my old resurrected keyboard to be usb and have a few usb ports on the keyboard itself

thats it for now. if i add anymore things to the list, i will start listing unrealistic items...

on to the real show.

let's face it, given a chance, everybody wants to find their soul mate. but the thing is, if you are with a person now, is that person really the one?

the world is a broken place where many cannot be trusted. we fall in and out of love. and sometimes, when we find someone that clicks incredibly well, we think he/she is the one. this, of course, is very possible. but there is also a possibility the person is a fraud and a total arse.

is there really a way to know if they are for real?

ladies and gentlemen, if you read many chain mails that tell you how, then what takes away the possibility that these frauds are getting their information from there as well?

we never really know who to trust in this planet. we can only truly love and trust ourselves. because when we put our lives into the hands of our lover, we are filled with doubt.

so the million dollar question is, can you live your life with your partner without a trace of doubt and without an inkling of fear that they may leave you?

to love and be loved is the greatest thing that has been bestowed upon us.

we search eternally for a happy ending that only exist when we let it. but with so much hate and doubt in the wold, not many have found such a thing.

our partners in life are only flesh and bone. can you love them beyond that? can you see pass the illusion of the flesh and truly see whats in their minds? can you truly love them for who they are and not only their bodies? true love is but a rare beauty many have failed to find.

The Pain of Loving - 4 July 2007
loving you, is the most painful thing to do,
breaking me up inside, ripping me in two,
too long i have loved you, and it breaks me up inside,
too long i have been waiting, and inside i have only cried,

i need not you to be mine, i need you only beside me,
i only want you with me. why is it you can't see?
loving you, missing you, wanting you by me,
tied to these emotions, that i cannot break free,

no one is known to be perfect, but you are perfection defined,
you seem too much like a trap of greatness, in which i am confined,
willing to help your friends, and all of those around,
but never losing yourself, which keeps me much astound.

never felt so empty, yet never felt so full,
never felt so strange, as if neither hot nor cool,
i want you here, i want you gone, i see you everywhere,
lost in confusion, no where to turn, all i can do is stare.

Am I in Love - 6 July 2007
the first time i looked into your eyes,
there was a feeling i can't force to subside,
a feeling that i had never once felt,
a feeling that makes me just want to melt,

the art of your perfection, never once too shy,
the way you speak and move, has made the angels cry,
and i know i must speak the truth, i know i mustn't lie,
but you had lifted me up so high, without me letting you try,

what is this feeling that i can't seem to comprehend?
is she an enemy? or maybe just a friend?
am i insane, to want her for who she is?

Life Can be Short - 3 August 2007
today as i walked home i saw a dead frog,
though i had walked on, i was left with a thought,
life begins, lives on, and it has its own fate,
but one day will come when it eventually is dead,

life, like a rope, has a beginning and an end,
it may be just a matter of how, where, and when,
you may live for the present, future, or past,
but never stop living, for it is more than just a task,

so if you care for someone, please tell them today,
for you may not have many chances to take their breath away,
be it a poem, a card, or even a homemade song,
for who knows, whether the time that remains is either short or long,

to you, there are a thousand of things i want to say,
but fear within me has kept me silent up until this day,
life can be very short, there are things that we can't do,
so in case something ever happens to me, just know that i love you.

Love

first, what is love? wiki's definition of love can be found here. however, this article is to explain the basic roots of love.

there are mainly 3 most important component for love. these are trust, communication and respect. these 3 can be said to basically be the foundation of all love.

trust is important for if you don't trust your partner in the first place, there is practically no point to be together in the first place. trust is important to instill a sense of belief for one another. if both partners don't trust each other, then they will inevitably encounter with annoying paranoia problems.

communication is an important aspect that some people ignore sometimes. although a couple may trust each other to the maximum, without communication, their love may never grow. a couple must learn to talk to each other and express themselves or they may well be on the way to a bad relationship. sometimes we can't always guess what is trying to be said, we must just talk directly.

respect is probably the most important portion there is. if we do not respect our partner, there is a space of disrespect that will grow to become hate. we must learn to respect the choices our partners let them know they must respect you too. of course there are arguments in a relationship, but sometimes we must give way and sometimes we must stand our ground. either way, we must respect each other.

if you fail to do these 3 simple things with your partner, then you are considered a failure. without these 3 simple aspects, your love life may be starting to spiral downwards. this also applies to love for your family and so on. these 3 things are the most important that there is. i'm not saying there isn't more but these 3 can be considered the foundation so please don't ignore it if you happen to think you love them but don't think that the 3 conditions apply. if you think you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me at: sucker_d_polvis@yahoo.com

Love and Romance

it seems amazing with the fact that an English lesson turned into a talk about love and romance. the thing is, where's the difference? a person that can love doesn't mean that they can be romantic and vice verse. being romantic is having the ability to charm. but love is completely different. when a person is only romantic, they are wearing a mask that shows as if that they are in love. but in reality, they are merely bluffing. a person can say that they love you but not mean it. but because we find the person being romantic, we tend to believe that it is true.

but what if they're both? putting it simply, a person needs to know whether or not it is true love that they are dealing with, or just a mere infatuation. so this basically brings us down to one possible question that we must all think about. what is love?

to know what is love, we must first know what is loving. there are many type of love. love for your parents, siblings. love for your country, love for music, etc. in this case we are exploring about the love for a partner. loving someone ( your partner ) is the willingness to care for that person without condition such as illnesses and physical changes. when loving someone, you are willing to care despite changes around you and your partner. loving someone is also the ability to stand up for yourself. loving is the bravery to have your freedom and choice, NOT doing everything your partner wants to. love CAN'T be represented by committing suicide or harming oneself because when together, they have already given each other their lives by spending the rest of their lives together. hurting yourself to prove your love just means that your partner doesn't truly love you to be willing to see you being hurt in the first place. and especially for girls, loving doesn't mean that you must sleep with them. people that threaten to leave you or sleep with them are people who you should not have been with in the first place. love is most importantly about respect. respect for yourself and those around you.

when someone truly loves you, they give you your space, they respect you, and they never fail to make you happier. when someone really loves you, they would be willing to accept it if you say no. they would be happy for you and constantly encourage you. and most importantly they can be happy just because you are happy.

more and more people are having short relationships. this is because when they get a feeling, they automatically assume that it is love when it is in fact only an infatuation. an infatuation means that you are liking someone for certain reasons only. money, fame, beauty, etc. upon finding out that their partners have bad qualities within them, they break up. in worse cases, a person gets into a relationship with only an intention to use the person.

we constantly hope to find true and everlasting love. but looking to hard can lead to desperation. and desperation can lead to considering anyone that comes in your way. let time allow love to find its way to you. at the mean time, love could just be staring at your face and you may have not noticed.
