Dear Kenny #comments

To be honest, I really didn't expect much comments. Much less coming from God and people i don't know. But seeing to as how some of these comments are question-like, I shall comment on the comments.

First and foremost, the comments can be found here.

Now then, let's begin.

"If god wants us to harm ourselves, he would had turn it into a commandment."

"Let's not drag God into the issue shall we?"

Why not? I like people using my name in vain. That's why I made a commandment to not use my name in vain. I'm so full of contradictions.
September 28, 2009 1:42:00 AM MYT

Because if I do, it will be another epic rant.

Dear Kenny,

let me just point out that not all animes revolves around 'fantasy', 'where the impossible happens'.

BUT, almost all games do. Or at least, those FPS games that you're such a sucker for does. Guns with endless bullets, running around killing people? HOW THE FUCK does that improve your intelligence?

PS: Sorry for hijacking your comment box, dominic. I had to write this somewhere, and when the alternative is writing in the owner's blog, there's not much of a choice left.
September 28, 2009 2:02:00 AM MYT

No worries, everyone is welcomed to comment their opinions and views.

Hey mortals, our dear Kenny has another post worth reading. Anyone want to analyze that? Next he's gonna say I should've made a commandment banning death metal and everything else, except what Kenny likes.
September 28, 2009 10:44:00 AM MYT

I think it would be interesting if someone else analyzes it besides me. I've had my fill of fun for now.

Wow, I totally understand why OSTs sell so well now, and why people worship Yuki Kaijura and Yoko Kanno. Thank you Captain Obvious.

Hahahahahahahahahaha. I see you've introduced us to a retard, a loser even.

Retards, are those who contradict themselves. Retards, are those who can't differentiate between fantasies with reality. Retards, are those who cannot restrict themselves and therefore saying entertainment in the form of animes make people stupid. An example of a retard will be the guy Kenny.

For the [Self harming... Failure of understanding humanity's worth?] part, that guy is really pathetic. *sigh*

Then came a comment that was very interesting and really captured my attention.

When I saw this comment I was like, 'wow, a comment that practically interview me'. So I shall do him/her the honour of replying everything sincerely.

"my my...wat's with this nonsense..."
This nonsense is my rant, just in case you are incapable of reading the topic tabs or unable to analyze the post i wrote.

"y is almost everyone here so negative?"
I won't say everyone here is negative. God has been pretty neutral and the anons were just fooling around. So who is this everyone you speak of?

"everyone have their own point & views...
sometimes their point & views may clashes..."
Agreed.

"but doesnt mean that u have to dedicate a blog post juz to blast the person back..."
Also agreed.

"do u have to do that to everyone's post who say out their points & views that clashes with urs?"
I don't HAVE to do that every post I don't agree with. I will do it if I WANT to. I WANTED to blast Kenny's posts, so I did.

"dedicating a post to someone & also commenting a person's views...
isn't that immature? & yet u ask them to grow up..."
I don't think I would label this immature for a very simple reason. Go read a newspaper. Everything that has the word review in it is commenting on whatever it is they are reviewing. In a very real sense, I am reviewing Kenny's blog.

"i find that points in both blogs have their own views...to put it in a way, there is no wrong nor right...if u dun like some things that is being blog about & also clashes with ur view...
read it & leave..."
While I think that my post has more facts backing it up rather than just being filled with wishful thinking, I couldn't agree more with what you said. If you don't like something that is being blogged about and also clashes with your view, just read it and leave. So if you didn't like my post, why didn't you listen to your own advice? I'm sure you read it to be able to comment but I don't really see you leaving now do I?

"that's all i can say...to listen or not...it is all up to an individual...
let's have peace & harmony..."
Yes, it is up for me to listen or not. Of course, I can say I did listen though I can't say i agree with absolutely everything.

"have a nice day..."
Have a nice day too.

Then came a very interesting comment again, who, I must say, summarizes my points quite well.

Congratulations for shooting yourself in your own stinking feet.

"I find that points in both blogs have their own views..."

Hence, Dominic is entitled to his own point of view, and supported it with as much facts as he can. If you don't like what he wrote, shut the fuck up, and don't bother posting here. Ever again. Go suck more on Kenny's ignorant dick or something.

And that's all from me for now. Let's see if this post attracts more interesting comments to comment about.

27 September 2009

Dear Kenny

According to you, my blog sucks. Seeing to as that comment came from someone whose blog sucks more than mine, I feel obligated to point out how your blog sucks instead. I don't even have to go full scale. The content of your blog is enough to prove my point. And no, I will not even overkill by commenting on every single one of your post. Criticizing the latest two post might already be an overkill.

In case readers cannot find his latest two posts of which I am speaking about, I have happily made a back up here.

Let’s start off with [anime and intelligence] shall we?

WARNING: Despite my post to be sliding towards the anti-anime side, I would like to say this. Please. Do not stop reading this post.

Alright, I have no idea what you are warning me about but I guess everyone has their own blogging style.

Challenging minds. Animes have become a trend. A culture in the world. Something Japan has contributed. Though, they have been challenging everyone's minds. They have proven to be ridiculous at times. I have suddenly thought of this. Animes are something which are not worth watching when you have other things to do. It is merely a fantasy world where its purpose is to entertain you. However, too much entertainment has its toll. Though the question is, too much anime can cause your intelligence to deteriorate? Plausible theory. My claim is that the more you watch, the more you neglect other stuff such as challenging your minds to explore new things and new possibilities.

Anime has proven to be ridiculous at times? First off, not many anime out there is realistic in the first place and you're complaining about anime being too ridiculous? This is equivalent to saying that "harry potter has proven to include magic in its story theme at times". Not only is it obvious, it is a waste of time.

So you have "suddenly thought of this" phenomenon eh? Finally realized that anime is not real? Finally realized that the world is bigger than you? Finally realized that falling off a building would get you more than just a bruise?

"However, too much entertainment has its toll". Are you high when you posted this? Everything has its toll. Cars move forward but their tires wear out. You spend time studying but you could have always been doing something else. There is nothing in this world without a toll. If there is, a perpetual motion device would have already been invented making electricity free for all.

Though this doesn't really say that only amines will do. So, the title should be changed to too much of any entertainment causes your mind to go down to zero. True? WRONG! Despite how much, I've experimented it with, entertainment doesn't really kills your intelligence. However, if you're watching some lame shows on the TV, yes it does. Entertainment such as video games in fact makes you think better.

So lame television programs "kills your intelligence" but entertainment such as video games make you think better? Seriously, you were high when you wrote this post right? Let’s start with the "lame shows on TV". I’m sure lots of children cartoon are considered "lame" for you. In fact, most of us would not be able to stand watching something meant for a child. Is this what that is killing your intelligence? Especially when these programs are made to teach children various things such as numbers, colours, and even some simple physics. But of course, these shows are "lame" and make people more stupid.

Video games make you think better huh? Let’s say Tetris. Tetris is capable of making a brain thinking more efficiently. Heck it can even relieve post-traumatic stress disorder but that does not mean you become smarter. Unreal Tournament is a game that can improve your eyesight. "pro-social" games (including Super Mario Sunshine) can make people be in a better mood. Medal of Honour improves cognitive skills. Laparoscopic surgeons can even work 27% faster with 37% less mistakes when playing games focusing on motor skills for at least three hours of gaming a week. I’m pretty sure most of these games here are pretty entertaining but what interests me is that not all of them make you more intelligent. Sure they improve you in certain ways but intelligence is not always in the picture. so why is it that you can plainly say "entertainment such as video games in fact makes you think better"?

In fact, certain games have proven to have sharpen the minds of many. However, that doesn't mean that you should stick your face in front of the TV with the console or the PC to play all sorts of games. Some games in fact makes your intelligence go down. Back to topic. We're discussing about animes and intelligence right? Well, for what I can see, some people had already forgotten about what's important in their lives when they started watching animes or any other things on TV. I've spent my time watching too much animes in the previous year. And to my surprise, I've realized, that too much is bad. My point is anime is a fantasy, where the impossible happens. Real life shows however, couldn't achieve the impossible since they couldn't defy the laws of physics. In this case, Real life shows would be more suitable for humanity instead of animes. When we watch things on TV. We tend to believe that what they do is real. So, in this case, we deny our own reality and substitute it with theirs.

Oh, so you already meant to contradict yourself? Sorry for not noticing.

Seems like you also finally realized that too much is bad. You know, I really can't think of many things that having too much would be good. Maybe you can, but it’s not easy for me. Health maybe.

But saying "real life shows however, couldn't achieve the impossible since they couldn't defy the laws of physics" is just plain idiocy at this point. Special effects were invented for a reason. Science fiction series and movies exist despite being unable to "defy the laws of physics".

If you tend to believe that what they do is real, how the hell does a television series such as 'lost' makes sense? Would you still deny your own reality and substitute it with theirs? At this rate, I’m willing to accept it if you want to get abandoned in some unknown island.

As to conclude this post, my point is, to not let yourself be absorbed into the anime world but keep a part of your consciousness to be in the real world. A balance on both animes and our TV shows would be nice. The more we absorb fantasy, the more our minds become rotten. As our minds focus on fantasy stimuli and not the real world. And this will result in weakened intelligence and focus. I suggest to all who reads this post to think more of the real life than to indulge fully into the world of fantasy

What is there to conclude? I mean really.

There are a number of animes out there which are not fantasy. In fact, there are a number of animes out there which are fantasy, but makes you think more about life compared to "real-life TV shows. Bounen no Xam’d and EVA no Jikan to name a few, are anime series that definitely incorporates fantasy though not entirely being in the fantasy genre. And yet, these anime are capable of making people more understanding of others and some tear-jerking animes can even make you appreciate life more.

"Weakened intelligence and focus" just from watching anime? Please, you can say the same for television series. A number of animes as stated in the last paragraphs can sometimes change a person. Though the origin of which is fantasy, it makes them think of things in real life. I'm sure the same can be said for television series but hey, from what I can see, you don't think television stations screen anime so I'll keep it at that instead of speaking on how you were contradicting yourself since the beginning.

Whew.

And now, we shall continue with [Self harming... Failure of understanding humanity's worth?]

Self harming as most usually recognize it as a part of the Emo subculture is a method of doing physical harm towards one self. However, this self harming is not just a normal harming. What puzzles me today is why on earth would humans even harm themselves? I mean, is there any good coming from people being emo nowadays? What is it that humans prefer cutting their own wrists or doing any severe physical harm to themselves?

First of all, read up the wiki on emo and self-injury. Done? Now you know that is associated with the emo subculture and not a part of it. Good going for making a false statement in your first sentence. Now tell me, how is self harming not normal harming? Both involves harming. Normal harming does not define as to where harm is inflicted on but self harming specifically says so. So what is the difference you speak of here?

Need to know why people harm themselves? That wiki post should be enough for you. Heck, you can even read my older post here.

And again, just in case it doesn't go through your thick skull, not all emo people cut themselves. Being emotional does not make you have issues which lead to self harm.

The only question I would wish to post to all those people out there who are still living within the emo subculture. Why do you even want to harm yourselves? Do you even care about the people around you who cares about you a lot? Harming yourself is not a way of expression. It is mere stupidity. If god wants us to harm ourselves, he would had turn it into a commandment. Emo or not, this is not worth doing. Origins of emo are from the popular music. Bands such as "My Chemical Romance" are promoting people to harm themselves. You teens have better things to do. Harming yourself is never a good idea.

Let's not drag God into the issue shall we?

After thinking for a bit, I might just believe that music can turn someone emo. And all who listen to death metal are serial killers right? Maybe one day I should try playing songs by "My Chemical Romance" just to see how many people end up cutting themselves. After all, that's how the physics in your world works right? You know, if interest in a music genre can brainwash someone into changing so much, the world would be destroyed by now. The statement "origins of emo are from the popular music" is just plain discriminating. Emotional songs would naturally attract most emotional people but that does not mean it wouldn't attract any other crowd.

Wake up world. This world is never miserable. The ones who are miserable is you people. You people wanted it to be miserable. That's why you feel that it's miserable. I find it ironic that humans who are created to protect themselves wants to harm themselves instead. Humans are not stupid. Humans are an intelligent race and the stupidity comes from why we do irrational things? Grow up people!

Yes, your little world is never miserable. There is nothing sad in your world. Your world has no risk of sickness and everyone in it is happy. You are always happy and nothing puts you down. People who are suffering are not miserable in your world. People whose lives are fading away are not miserable in your world. People whose lives have been completely unfair for every moment of their waking life is not miserable in your world. Of course that is true. I completely agree. But the real world may be just a little different if you bother to take notice.

But for once, just once, I have to agree with what you said at the end. Humans ARE an intelligent race. Doing irrational things is commonly related to being stupid. This much I can agree with. I can even agree with you telling people to grow up. The question I have for you though, if why don't you listen to your own advice?

Dear Kenny, please grow up. You are a human being. Human beings are an intelligent race. You should base your posts on facts and not write it irrationally on a whim

P.S. Your lousy usage of punctuation also makes your blog suck more than mine.

P.P.S. All comments are welcomed, even from you Kenny.

P.P.P.S. Anyone posting comments as anonymous in this post sucks.

Brains, Part 2

when i first made this blog i really wanted to talk about things that can make people think a lot. though i ended up with writing more rants than intelligible posts in the beginning, i would like to think i am improving. one of the first few posts would be about brains. a simple and short rant that was written by the simple minded and child-like me. this is an sequel to the post after a few years of thinking.

any average person would be born with a particular organ called a brain. the average brain is capable of thinking. the capability of thinking is that of which allows us to be different from one another.

the first thing i would like to mention is this: how is it that although the average person has a brain, that person is still capable of blindly believing something without a scientific basis? santa claus? the boogie man? why is it that children do not even question the existence of something as ridiculous as the tooth fairy?

the average adult would realise the silliness of how children can believe such a thing but let them be simply because they are children. while i can live with that, how is it that adults also find no problem believing in something that is baseless? is drinking liquor suppose to keep you warm? a chameleon changes colour to match its surroundings?

come on people, we are born with brains to think. so please, start thinking.

the second thing i would like to address is: must everybody agree with everything you say? so you think a particular movie sucks, that is your opinion. i have the freedom to watch whatever i want be it sucky by your standards or not.

when you have an opinion, it is your opinion, it is not a fact. if you were to explain to me about the various wavelengths of light for each colour, i could understand. this is something that has a scientific basis. it is facts, not something subjective. but if you are to tell me a certain genre of music is horrible and that i should never listen to it, then i strongly disagree. that is your opinion, not a fact. trying to convince me like it is a fact is similar to propaganda.

why is it so common for people to mix opinions and fact? is it really that hard to think for a moment whether or not others may have a different opinion? this does not even require you to think so much. it is pure logic. different people would have different opinions about things. the world does not revolve around you.

again people, please start using that brain of yours.

the third and final installment of this post is: statistics. ok, so some statistics make sense, like how much power you use to how much your electricity bills will be by the end of the month. this is a very direct thing that hardly requires statistics to know what the graph would look like.

however, when many variables are taken into place, how can you simply pick what you like and create a statistic out of it? to believe that random things are interrelated and make a statistic out of it without consideration of other variables is utter stupidity.

the best example that is common is global warming versus pirates. as the temperature of the planet goes up, pirates are decreasing. are we suppose to have more pirates then people? i might as well say the longer my hair grows, the warmer the planet gets. so everyone should shave their heads. please people, when you want to make a statistical statement, at least get your fact straight and make sure what you are comparing actually makes sense.

of course there are also statistics like saying the average person swallows 8 spiders per year in their sleep but i already talked about this in my first point.

so for the last time people, please think a little more in life.
